    This fish (Allenbatrachus grunniens grunting toadfish) a brackish/marine fish (although it seems to do fine in freshwater).

    isn't he cute? and he can really grunt!



    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    grunting very loudly (like frog loh) when taken out of water. anyway he is killed by this Channa sp. 'Manipur'.

    RIP man... anyways, do you know how big these fishes (toadfishes )
    can get and what their diet consist of?
