Not sure how it takes care of both plant's needs and fish color. Did u do a search on the net any infor of the composition?
So far I think for the following trace the detail compositions are avaulable on the net:
TMG, Seachem Flourish, LGM, Dupla, etc
    Price are varies though.
I prefer knowing what's in there.

I use Dennerle Gold-7, it supposedly adds nutrients and hormones to kick plants into high gear.

    Imho, bullshit. =x

I too have been using dennerie gold-7 for the past 1 year. So far so good. My plants really show a mark difference than before I start using them. But it was also around the same time I start using a fan, and recently a chiller. And also at the same time super root monster too. Plant growth improved a lot in thuis period. so not exactly sure if it is the G7, the super root monster or the lower temperture or all three are really the main factor.
Btw, so far, no major desease happened in my tank and some of the fishes are there for years already.

oic. it seems that there are 3 main factor surrounding the situation.
but it seems as a general well being solution for a healthy virus free tank.
more on prevention rather than other reason.
but. seems that this dennerie brand had a very good reputation too.

Well it doesn't hurt my tank so far. I'm just dosing to finish up the product instead of keeping it in my store.

I stopped dosing it for about a month previously. I'm doing the EI way... no marked difference frankly. That's of course my own experience and doesn't count for everyone.

    Hi Guan,
It is near impossible to get a virus free tank. Before that, Dennerle has PF Gold 7 and S7. PF 7 is a kicker starter for 'difficult' plants and S7 is vitamins for fish. And then there is TR 7. The (7) number means it is added every 7 days. Dennerle has a proven track record as such it's reputation. You can give S7 a try, but my advise is try TR 7( peat-bark extract ). PS: we are talking about serious collateral damage here so be forewarned.
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

I have tried Gold-7 and TR7 when I just started the hobby. Personally, I did not find them effective. I have never used them again since.

I have not tried S7 though. I can't really comments.

I doubt its of any usefulness to the fishes. Focusing on the base ecosystem of the tank as well as a good variety of diet is going to help more.
