Thanks for the offer Isz.... still looking around.... btw where do you get them from.....
can email me pictures- [email protected]
deck, u gotta look ard.. try nature, aquamart.. oso there r different types.. bogwood will be more ex. i pay 3 pieces of $70 each..
deck,
LSZ is indeed very selective when choosing his wood.. and yes.. while boawood is very much nicer than driftwood, they are indeed very ex.. u can try FF along lor harlus.. that is what LSZ and i last went to look for drift wood..
Let us work together to preserve the world for our children to inherit by being responsible to our surroundings. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, bubbles and memories.
you can always try those non-bogwood types, cuz you get nicer branchy kind of woods. kind of like the kind nature has in his tank. I found one nice big one at gen x for $24 and the only prob is you have to labouriuosly strip off the bark . but I like the raw wood texture and colour that results. will take pics soon!
Which is driftwood and which is bog wood?
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
vinz, driftwood is the normal type u see at lfs.. bogwood comes with 2 tones, lighter on the top and darker on the base
ok... I think I got it. Thanks

Actually looking for root shape kind.... looks like tripole or similar....
Isz... sorry to ask.. is it alright see what drift wood you have to spare??? where do you stay??? sorry to trouble you la[:]
deck, u can try H2O, they do have some nice mangrove root.. got some from them...
Those roots type kinda thin looking, do you want that for your 6ft? IMO, go for the bulky looking looking ones. Benetay got quite a few nice ones for his 6ft from Teo's.
sherwin, dun be mistaken.. there r big mangrove stump not only thin roots...
Yep, H2O's mangrove root is very nice looking. I got one from them when I set up my 3 footer. Couldn't resist it eventhough my tank is a bit small.
too bad, they dun hv x-large roots... dun mind changing my bogwood in my 6ft
Saw some at Tropical at Lor Halus this weekend.----------------

These stuff are quite expensive. Bogwood comes from what tree? If it is from local tree, maybe I go chop some.
