Hi Guys,
Need some advise on when should I start to snip my Echin Rubin plantlet off its flower stalk? Currently, my Echin Rubin has two flower stalk and both are flowering and having new plantlets.

my experience with rueben is to leave the plant like that till the roots have grown enough. then you can nip it.
I have tried the two methods ( with and without roots) mentioned above boths works for me .

As long as they have leaves, they have photosynthetic machinery to grow. Not a necessity to have roots to grow...leaves are more important or at least some energy left in case all the leaves are gone to grow back at least a couple.
