I got my aponogeton for some time now( one outing before the previous outing). So far, the leaves can not grow straight up but curl towards the substrate.
    Why does this problem occur?
I fertilize my tank by adding 5ml of Tetra Florapride once a week and i add a Jobe stick to the plant when I planted it. 45W of FL for my 2ft tank and DIY CO2...
    Any help will be appreciated.

it would help to identify the Aponogeton species. I suspect if it was from Teo it could be the rigidifolius, which isn't one of the easy Aponogetons. Baensch Vol. 2 notes that this species requires very soft water, transplants badly (meaning wait long long for it to grow properly), needs more light than most. Curling leaves are a sign of distress. Only madagascarensis gives more headaches. Easier aponogetons would be ulvaeus (drawback: grows damn big and has resting period), natans (drawback: will grow long floating leaves), longiplumolus (check Mok's recent post, good plant for very tall tanks) and undulatus (a near perfect Aponogeton that behaves like an Echinodorus).

can u try to identify which species is it first? Moving will just bring it back to ground zero.

I tried to ID the plant already but a bit hard. All I know that at Teo's, they got the same plant on the extreme right corner of their display tank.

But do look like Aponogeton longiplumulosus in the Tropica website.
