seems like rake also facing the same problem
suspected the lighting is too strong?
they dont really need high co2 input.
but temperature..doing alright from 24.5-28 degree.
as for lighting, seems like strong lighting is alright.
so far. my lotus are propagating well. the old leaves dont melt off, but just turns wrinkle, and slowly become yellowish.
Seems like CO2 if you really cover the nutrients correctly.

I have same problem when first started EI but once the newer leaf start growing no problem from there onwards. May be the older leaf need to give way to adjust to the higher nutrient ?
im having both red tiger lily & the green variety. i found initially the leaves do melt away but the newer ones will stay for a long long time. my dosage of co2 is about 1 bps for my 70 gal tank. what about the nutrients that you are adding. i make my own fertilisers from thr chemicals available locally. try to change the fertilisers you are using. also i guess this problem can be solved by planting the lily directly below light rather than in shade of any other plant.
try putting Root monster,
and increase ur CO2 a little bit more.
my tank spec
4x1.5x1.5
temp 27C
