Take a look at the photos of some of the peacocks from my new shipment:

Aulonocara, in Greek meaning flute/pipe head.
This is in reference to the series of holes on the head of members of these genus, which resemble the holes on the flute.

It is not easy to spot the holes of course, and the common name of peacock actually describes it better. These are colourful fishes. Having a tank of them is the next best thing to a MARINE AQUARIUM.

The trick is of course in keeping the colours.

They are tough aquatic subjects. Only one casualty on arrival because of a burst bag.

BTW, I have attached a picture of my bartonis as well, 7 nos, and all in excellent condition.
It is a small and peaceful Nandopsis species, with all the other jaguar characteristics.
The skunk colour - black with a frosted back, is the breeding dress.

A rare find here.... probably the only bartonis in the whole island !

Just to ride on this post.

this fish Jason is selling is not the "usual" $3 pseudotrophues we can find in LFS.

    still not widespread.

Rainbow at serangoon selling for $28 .

think a price of ard $20 is reasonabl.e
