    have anyone use limestone as a set-up for their African cichlids.will it helps to buffer the ph?

    Hello.
    Yes, Limestone buffers the pH and the hardness of the water. I use crushed coral and sand as a substrate for my tanganyikans, so the pH and hardness is increased that way.

    so that means those limestone for garden landscaping can be use in our tank.
