A nice place with cool clean water. Last time i went i remember see a lot of XL size T-barbs, shrimps.....Remember bring along a net or you will regret But be careful upstream especially at the top of the waterfall, extremely slippery rocks & deep water.

You can catch lunch at the town (Kota Tinggi), buy some makan, drinks before proceed to the final destination.

Enjoy & have nice trip. Take some photos, post it in AQ for those whom hasn't got a chance to visit the place.

Drove past Laka Iskandar waterfall along route 59 going up Cameron highlands about 2 months ago. Quite impressive except that the wooden boardwalk that leads nearer to the falls seems to be sealed off at that time. We can only stand beside the road and look at it. On our way down from Cameron highlands, it had rained for a 2 days and the falls swell to quite a frightening sight. Definately not advisable to go into the waters at that condition. Even tiny streams we saw on the way up became quite significant water falls. A search on googlers indicates there are a number of waterfalls in the Cameron Highlands area too.

Near Kota Tinggi, there is a Palapah Falls... Quite deep into the forest... Some couple of vertical cliff climbs and waist high water to thread before reaching the falls... But it is worthed it...
