At times... they can separate the ripe ones from the unripe ones.. there are a few techniques the avid durian eaters would know..but i know they store them in large baskets when they aren't ripe.

I thought they said if you pluck the lewlians from the tree you will damage the tree. I once had lewlians from an 80+ year old tree in Labis, whoa the taste is exquisite. Only friends and relatives can to eat those as it is not for sale.

I'm game.. but to eat good liu lian in Singapore you must pay alot of 'school-fee', ie, must go back to the same shop and got ripped off (good money buy sub-std liu lian) until the owner recognise you, pity you then give you ho-liu-lian..

I like kor-ba liu lien.. so kor that it's like eating traditional chinese herb but very difficult to buy kor-ba nowadays.
Most liu-lian are Dxx (D24, D13, etc) nowadays, eating them is like eating potato, more sweet than kor.. few seeds and you are bloated.

How about AQ organise one liu-lien trip to Segamat?
After that go long-kang and catch some fish, then pack more liu-lien, before coming back?

Geyland also can.. got lots of 'pei-du' to view

Err.. you guys want to come to my Aunties farm? its in malacca.. lots of "family" only quality durians... better go b4 i leave singapore..

Then can catch fish in their farm property longkang and pluck crypts which they call weeds.. so also helping them... i grew up there when i was young, last time during durian season.. everymeal also got "super quality" durian.. wa lau eat until i now still have fobia.. but less for me is more for you guys right? kekeke..

can organise a bus load! I know someone with lobang with malaysia bus operator, they will come into Singapore to pick up and drop off. safer than taking Singapore registered buses.

Seriously, mai tu liao.. should be quite easy to find a bus load of AQ members. Can someone start making this a reality?
Charge per head lah.. whether 6 mths babies or 80 yo, same price.. hehe..
