Canon S-series can fix SLR lens? Using the lens adapter?
If you buying lenses, why not top up a few hundred and get a DSLR?
Not very familiar with the S-series, so might sound stupid here...
Experts need your advice. I’m thinking of upgrading to Canon S3 IS plus the following kit lens:
Tele–converter (TC_DC58B)
Wide-converter (WC-DC58A)
Lens Adapter (LAH-DC20)
Marco Len (???) - maybe
The cost of the kit lens is actually close to 200 and I think the price is quite similar to the price of a sigma lens (can someone kindly confirm?). For travel/holidaying purpose and use for landscape and street photographing, I think kit lens is light enough to carry around and price still affordable. Do you think it is worthwhile getting a kit lens for a average user like me or should I go for something else?
I know L lens is good but definitely out of question because of budget.

A 2nd hand 350D with kit lens 18-55, grip, extra battery only cost about 1.3-1.5k... Think the S3 is about 800?
