some of the removing techniques require the use of loaches or puffers, but for 1.5 ft i really cannot afford that kind of space for the fish. My tank is still cycling, so there is no fauna present in my tank yet, can i apply anti snail chemicals? will it wear off in one months time? because i'm adding shrimps in 1 or 2 months time.
read that the solution is harmful to shrimps, do check your water condition before adding them. whether will wear off, play safe do a complete water change.
can consider introduce puffer fish (rent from others also can) to clear your snail problems after your water is cycled. safer this way, since your tank are pretty young.

oh sorry, i meant dwarf puffer fish, but it also famous for nipping fish fins.
else ghost shrimps, they are also good in controlling snails.

Since your tank is without shrimps yet, is possible to have a dwarf pufferfish for snail control. Remove later when needed. Now I daily manually removed snail before they over-run shrimp tank.
i'm having a 1.5feet tank, had the same problem as you. introduced one dward puffer fish and my snail problem was totally under control
