Plants with strong stems

hi all,

would like some advice for plants with strong stems to be used as background plants in the corner as it seems that the flow from my filter is a bit strong resulting in currents there. i am looking for plants which have strong stems and cant sway.. any advice? are there any red strong stem plants?

its a 3ftx1.5ftx1.5ft tank

How strong a stem is would depend on what you fertalise your plants with.. stems vary in thickness depending on the fertilisation its getting..

However, some east ones would be plants like hygrophila corymbosa and its may variants, ...but pruning is hell.. grows super fast.
