i have 4 tetras and 2 harlequin rasboras, and when i'm not feeding them they seem to hang out at one side of the tank where it is facing the altar, colour of altar being rosewood colour. then they swim up and down with their noses plastered to the glass, is there anything wrong with that?

I do not think it has anything to do with the altar, but the reflection on the glass, they might be intimidated by their reflection.

Just leave them alone. That phase will pass by them soon and they'll be swimming normally again. Used to happen to my red noses too, that behaviour disappeared soon after.

Could also be due to stress brought out by the smaller numbers of the school (anyway, 2 is not a school, neither is 4...) and unruly neighbours...

Once a while my pair of Panda Cories will behave the same way like taikiat's fishes.

I thought it could be the presence of my 2 Holland Rams.
