Don't think dat applies to every plant rite?

My Aponogeton does. And one of the small plantlets I kept is growing well to about 2" tall now. Hope you will get some surprise plantlet findings.
I agree it is difficult for most plants to propagate via seedlings.

i notice some plants dun propagate the same way (like plantlets after flowering) my E. major, propagate sending runners out even though they flower like most plants
crispus does
take your finger and gently run over the flower, making sure you spread the pollen around
and then leave it alone
best is if you don't disturb it at all, and it's not too close to the light, or it might shrivel
mine put out 5mm big seeds after about a week, and it dropped into the water and sprouted
good luck
that sounds interesting ... my ulvaceus has flowered a lot of times, but i always snipped it off .... so will it propagate the same way?
-Paw here-

I think i'm beginning to observe wat Yimin mentioned....some of the seeds on the flower r growing quite big, so i suppose these big seeds will eventually drop into the water & grow?
Prob is....because my tank is <1.5ft talk, the flower is growing/hanging outside the perimeter of the tank...i guess i'd have to put the flower over the water surface huh?
Ciao...Nizz
my marble queen just flowered today..!!! heh..
There's a 2nd stem of flowers now......woohoo.....
