Do you ship to the US Dovii?

OR if I went to thailand, could you ship fish to me?

I might be going to thailand on vacation...

Does anyone know how much it cost to go from thai/sing to thai/sing?

That is cheaper then feeders guppies in the US. They cost 12 US cents.

I wonder how much it would cost to send my fish back to the US via mail...

Also, are there alot of americans that go to singapore to buy fish?

There is a note to be made to those that wanted to buy fishes from other countries. Yes, the prices are cheap, if you can find them. But before you go into a buying spree and happily carry bags and bags into the airport and go home, there would be some surprises for you.

Thailand is a friendly and hospitable place, everyone is so nice, and I know lots of people that carry this and that back. But after the 911 incident, there are advisary signs here and there of things you cannot carry into the aircraft. Imflammables is one of them. Bags of oxygen is considered explosive in high alttitude.
So you may get through, but you are lightly to be stopped. When you are stopped before you board the aircraft, they usually just take your fish away. And they will give you all sorts of reasons and asked for a permit and then tell you that livestock is not allowed in the passenger compartment. PERIOD.

So you may ended up losing hundreds of dollars and a bruised ego. But think of the worse scenario- what if they change the law to more harsh, and you happen to be the first one..... or the bag got up the plane, and it exploded, not exactly like a bomb, but set the whole aircraft into panic. The consequence can be quite serious.

Call me a chicken, call me protecting my trade.
But I would rather pay afew bucks more and get from a LFS, than do otherwise.

yay man i just had bad experience

I had 2 small fish i thought they are alright i just strolled thru the custom with them openly and then they stopped me just before i boarded the plane.

I asked them since when cannot
they just said "sorry sir security sir"

fortunately bringing fish back was not the top of my agenda during the trip but if it was i think it will spoil it bad

I planned on putting them in my carryon bags or in my suit case with LOTS OF wraping so the bags dont pop...

i think to prevent your bags from popping you should pack them loosely (the air)
the pop is just due to decreased air pressure surrounding the bag...so with less resistence outside, air in the bag expands and burst thru the bag

so wrapping things ard the bag isnt gonna prevent it popping, it just will prevent the water from the burst bag from leaking everywhere

I dont think I will be taking any fish home, unless I find any I like in singapore, then I will just ship them home via some mail service.

    Anyway... these guys are great...

    They love live brine shrimp!
