Thanks for sharing the pic. Looks like a well stock LFS.
hi all
the two shop benny and i went to were oasis and pier aquatics in wigan,
oasis is based 10 minutes walk away from benny's hotel so that was the first one to see,
i think benny was impressed with the size of this shop it covers 3 floors, the basement is for fish the ground floor is for dry goods and display tanks and the first floor is all upto date aquarium systems.
ive put 5 shots of only a small part of the fish section with a couple of shots of the man thats usually behind the camera, i'm only putting these on because benny has taken one of me ( i hate my pic taken, haha).
the first shot is a marine fish in the shops display tank.
hope you enjoy them

hi nicky, so you noticed as well, i was walking round with him all day but until i had a look at the pic i didn't notice, haha.
when benny comes back from HK he'll be putting more pics up i'm sure.
the best shop is the one at wigan, benny took quite a few pics there.
btw has no one noticed the dinky camera he's got , if you saw the size of my hands i couldn't use it, it's to tiny.
cheers
mick
Yah I noticed it, nice huh?
But I had to quickly delete in case he decides to go on a before-after-diet..
There arent many LFS in the uk. there are none in york
you have to know the locals to find where the shops are even in york,
i think youre a tad out in saying there isn't many shops, where i live within a 4 mile radius there's about 20 shops, don't foget a lot of our garden centres now have fish shops in them.

I see alot of tropica plants!

benny's going to put a pic of me up when he gets back from his travels, i didn't even know he'd taken it the little bugger.

The shop is so neat and cosy...
Muahahahaha.. mick..looks like you have the same problem as me..haha..
Arrgh!! Mick! You should have told me you were shooting!! I could have at least breathe in and held my breath!
Anyway, good to see you again and thanks for your generosity with your time. It was great to see what the aquatic scene is like in UK. I'm still working on the pictures and hope to have them up in a few days. Watch this space!

on another note, the shops i took benny to they all have smallish tanks for displaying the fish but there are a few one is in bolton it's called BAS all the tanks for selling fish are 4x1.5x1.5 ft, there are also the end tanks which are
8x1.5x1.5 ft, this shop has over 300 tanks for our fishnuts to look at.
