    instead of planting those water growth plant in the tank, if there any way of planting the seed and let it grow?

    well, first you have to find the seeds.... if you can.

    The simple reason seeds are not common in the hobby is that the plants don't flower and seed successfully in captivity (as conditions are not often close to nature, where seasonal triggers or temperature causes flowering/fruiting. Also, growing mosses and ferns from spores needs close to laboratory conditions (like orchids).

    So the easiest way to get more plants is propagate them vegetatively, i.e. using side shoots, rhizome/stem cuttings, runners, tissue culture.....It's faster and much more economical.
