    Hi folks
Need help with some recommendation, looking to replace the following 2 plants in my tank.
    - Rotala wallichii
    - Eusteralis stellata (Pogostemon stellata) "Broad leaf"
They are pretty and growning well in my tank but is simply too tall for my tank. They have overgrown so much and covering the entire surface of my tank

Height of my tank is about 40cm (after excluding the substrate )

Rest of my plant as follows
    - Cyperus helferi
    - Hygrophila difformis (Starter plant which i will remove later)
    - Pogostemon helferi (downoi)
    - Bolbitis heudelotii
    - Hemianthus callitrichoides (HC)
    - Utricularia graminifolia

Looking to replace the plants which suits my tank ... i like the "amazon" look

Current state of my tank as follows

Keep the Rotala wallichii for ascent parts of your tanks specially near the broad leaves plants. For a amazon kind of look, you can try stargrass (at the back of the tank) and some broad leaves plants. Since you did not mention about your tank size except for hight, you can try look around for Echinodorus (Amazonicus, Osiris) if you have large tank (above 3ft). U might want to replace ur HC with E. Tenellus for a walk on the wild side look

    Thanks for the advise
    My tank dimension is 2.5ft x 1.25ft x 1.5ft (h).
Is that too small for the Osiris ?

The Osiris get big I saw one in a 150cm x 90cm x 90cm tank that was growing emmersed. They are great swords but can get too large.

I would go for the E tenellus in the foreground or midground-be warned that swords are nutient hogs and need lots of ferts and traces. A nice red sword like one or two of the following would be nice

E.schlueteri- the Leopard form is nice doesn't become too unmanageable
E.apart- good choice with nice red colour and doesn't get too large
    E.ozelot- a red form of E. schlueteri "Leopard" x E. x barthii
    E.barthi- Red Melon
    E.rose
    E.red rubin
    E.ruby
    E.indian red
