One of the two known resident crocs at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. At first I saw this fellow resting by the bank and managed to get to within 2 m of him before a noisy family came by and scared him away

Later he resurfaced near the main bridge, where I managed to take a few shots.

Wow. I better watch my step if I am there next time.

2 crocs? If they are a pair ... how long will they be mature to have babies?

I think if they get any larger they will be trapped and taken in. Its just the way i would expect things to work here..

    Let's just leave him alone...
It is actually us who is disturbing him rather than the other way...

Crocs usually don't attack humans unless they are injured or agitated or guarding their nest... So we back off if we see them... The reserve is a reserve for a reason...

Childrens might not know that there's a nest and wonder near. How then? At least the authority should put up notice for awareness?

There are already lots of signs in the reserve, and the boardwalks/designated paths are placed quite high up above the mudflat/water level. So unless you have proper business getting off the path into the mud or water, encounters with any crocs are likely to be far off, as the animals are more wary of humans than vice versa. And in any case, smaller children should always be kept under close supervision during visits to such outdoor places.
