    rain,

I sighted corys at a few shops these past few days. The following are some sightings:

    1) Toa Payoh Lor 4 (Daniel Ong), a few days ago, can't recall the type

    2) Tiong Bahru, yesterday, can't recall the type but quite sure not bronze corys

    3) Petmart, this evening, some bronze, some corys with bright yellow ventral fins (I bought 2) and 2 remaining panda or adolf.

    That's it.

    Cheers,

rain, you may want to read the Corydoras pygmaeus thread. apparently, corys are sighted at quite a few places.

rain, sorry something wrong with computer/network this afternoon...

tiongbahru & clementi - pretty big c. pygmeus
    tiongbahru - big c. pandas at ben's neighbour's
    clementi - smaller c. pandas
tiongbahru - ben has some big corys, looked like bronze, some in tank, some in fiberglass tank with small kois.

nothing much lah, just saw lots of more common corys in a farm in lor halus - albino, peppered, bronze, pandas.

oh, clementi had c. trilineatus too.

but $5 not cheap lah... hey, but if big pandas cost $4 at K&K, then $5 skunks should "move" pretty fast too... [:0] []

    rain,

I'm lousy with names. I hope you know I wasn't talking about yellow corys - just 2 of the "under-carriage" fins.

The ones in Petmart are pretty small and the yellow fins aren't very noticeable yet. I've seen grown ones with really bright orangy/yellowish fins. Very nice!

Petmart sell them for $10 each, which is pretty ex imo. There were about 10 in the tank and I bought 2. I was there at 5 pm so perhaps they sold out.

    Cheers,
    Roy

    Roy,

I think those are the Corydoras Sterbai as mentioned by Simon. And they are INDEED EXPENSIVE!

Normally, a small one cost approx $4.5 already!

If you have a change to go to Seng's Bros in LCK, they sell it at $2 each and during the seasons, they cost only $1 each! Good buy leh.

I do know some of the folks here are crazy about corys. You know who you are!

Anyway, $10 each for the Sterbai was indeed expensive. One cory = two apistos in Toh I knew Sterbai are expensive fish and I thought Petmart prices are reasonable. That was why I bought them.
