hi mike,
try putting in some otos and SAE. They help...and no worries about the brown algae for now if its a newly setup tank. They go away when the tank matures, but till then the above fish should help.
PS: Your angels are happily living in my tank
cheers

hi all,
regarding this brown algae, it also appeared to my brother's tank.
i dare not use any cloth or cottons etc to clean algae on the glass panel.
i used the 'filter net' to clean it thinking its the think which 100% can use in the tank.
does it help to get rid the algae?
i saw the algae grow rapidly on the plastic 'tube' which place inside as 'playground' for the fishes, and i just remove it from the tank and wash it with dish-washer detergent. can i just put it back after it dries up?
for the sand, i cant tell if they are affected by the algae... =(
many thanks in advance
Use a sponge and wipe off from the tank walls with brown algae. Then do a 40% water change. Get a few otos and they will do the job for you. Acclimatise the otos well and place a piece of wood in your tank too.
