Hi, i'm just wondering if i have a planted tank that is non-co2. do i need to be mindful of the types of plants that can be planted in non-co2 and other factors? Will the plants die off becos there is insufficient co2?

No, you do not need to be mindful of the types of plants you choose. Have you read the Sticky in the Beginners' Corner regarding the Non-CO2 method?

They won't die off if you execute the tank well , just three main things:

    1) No water changes, only water top ups.
    2) Moderate bioload
    3) Good water flow and as low as possible water temperature.

What about fertilizers? I guess it shd be added in very very little quantity since there isn't much CO2 for the plant growth ?

    traces everynow and then..
Just keep it from bottoming out.. should be no probs.
