Expensive TetraBits $$$

Hi to all

Not sure if anyone notice that the price for Tetrabits have increased sharply!! about 30% increase.

Anyone here got any other good and cheaper alternatives for dried food??

The medium one used to sell around $5 now raise to $8 while the large one used to cost $18 now selling at $22!!!![

where did u see it.. i get my tetra bits from Petmart.. at $17 per large can.. sigh.. so ex.. if that is the case, i might want to consider looking for other cheaper food source..

maybe mine is lousy brand- Yee Cher Cha at $8 for tetras and guppies so far so good fish love it!

petmart increase?? sigh.. there goes the last place i know.. btw, is $20 still the best price ard?? freaking hell.. busfare increase, fish food increase,.. the only thing not increasing is the bank account and salary, which is either stagnant or decline.. sigh...

i'm using the vitakraft diskus feed, 24 from happy aquarium
good response all around, and the tub is as big as the biggest tetra one, and then some

TetraBits is a good brand. So sad to hear that the prices are going up. I've learnt my lesson by not getting the medium sized can anymore. They would go bad before I can even use halve of it. (I feed my fishes sparingly) Am on the lookout for the smaller ones now. Yeah,everything darn thing is going up,except our wages. Wah liao eh, why don't they also add a GST increase to our salary? GST goes up,our wages goes up. [

Ya, yimin, think Petmart also promoting this as an alternative to TetraBits, they are selling $15 per can.

One disadv of this new brand is that it only comes in the BIG can, no small can to sample for the fish.

wah loa 2day find out that tetrabits at tpy 69 increase from $4.30 to $6 for the medium can!!!!!!!so outrageous........

Dea...vitakraft.. is it good?? i ran out of tetra bits today and went to Petmart to get it.. but at $22.. i got vitakraft which cost $15 instead..just one question... is it similar to tetra bits?? [:
