to all those ppl who have experience...

my bumblebees had laid eggs finally.. in some of the PVC pipes.. and i would like to know a few issues.
    1. how long does it take for the eggs to hatch?
    2. what diet to feed them?
    3. Do i need to separate them from the parents?
    4. will the internal filter, Eden do? or need to use the sponge filter instead so as not to suck in the frys?
    5. any other issues that i need to take note?

tks in advance.. for all the help rendered..[]

    i will leave them alone

anyway they had started you have good chance of more later

the best thing is to wait and see and understand their childcare pattern or lack of it

You need to use bbs to feed the fries. But watch your adults, they might eat the fries.

    Congrats on your sucessful breeding.[]

*kelvin praying for brandon; that he bought it and to be able to locate the issue* []

i do notice that with frequent water changes, they are more in the mood to mate, but i do not know the mating season and the male will lose its colors after water changes while the female will retain its colors.. generally, the females are rounder in the stomach area during the season.. and males are very territorial (more than ever) during the season.. hope this little info helps.

use a sponge filter. i read the article before. the parents engage in some broodcare like cichlids. they will protect the eggs and fry uptil a certain time and then the fry will scatter once they're big enough. a sponge filter is much better and yes, the fries will eat bbs. they are benthic fishes so very small worms will do as well.

oh yeah, i can't remember which issue of TFH it was but i guess it was a year ago or something.[]
