cos the last time i dropped by, it was with a cory maniac friend of mine who left for Hawaii to study the following month. and after that i've never been to the TB market.

pls advise on the following
1] can i have Corydoras in a planted tank? will they be harmful to the plants?
2] r they schooling fish - can i just have 2 each of different species?
3] they feed on ....?
thks
JJ, they r plant friendly... they do well in grps of 5-6.. they will take anything that sink (sinking pellets, bloodworm...etc)
thks simon
tt great, will them then
BTY, do they get along well with other cory of difference species?
I intend to maybe buy 2 each of 3 diff species of cory.
Advisable?
JJ, me not expert, but in my tank, no prob
buying 2 ea imo makes you more like a collector, not a keeper----------------

i prefer to get more no.s of them (ard 5~6 or more if available) because they like to keep company with their own species
simon, already have like 20 in my 2ft along with 30+ pygmaeus ^ __ ^
u bought all???
i'm a collector []
hehe.. ya i noe its wrong .. but well .. *act cute*
anyway.. saw some rather big Corydoras pygmaeus at ben
btw those who wants to buy the cory hastatus from the 6 finger guy the corys r very healthy.. all feeding immediately after i put into the tank.. but they r very small.. less then 10mm size... tetras will bite them too
just my point of view
i din buy any
i already have quite a few, the pygmaeus mostly about 1yr old or more, some new blood, and the hastatus all from gan, quite a few losses that time
Gan got sell mehz?

oops
i saw hastatus as hasbrosus, paiseh, mental block
i don't like the hastatus, remind me of tetras
much much prefer gracilis, if only they can be found
ahh, 33, thats a direct bus from my camp. great, thanks for the info =) hrm, but considering the size, i think my pygmaeus are giants compared to them. haha, saw my pygmaeus schooling today. cute lil buggers. []
