Some easy/moderatly easy ones I have experienced with and would recommend:
1) Mermaid weed, Proserpinaca palustris
2) Baclaya longifolia
3) Potamogeton gayi, looks green, but it will have brown/red leaves in good light...
4) Hygrophila sp.'Araguaia'
5) Ammannia gracilis
6) Cryptocoryne wendtii ' Tropica'
7) Nymphaea sp.
Echinodorus 'Rubin'
9) Alternanthera reineckii
10) Hygrophia polysperma 'sunset'

Hi,
may I know where can C. wendtii 'tropica' be found?
if anyone has pics, I am sure we will all enjoy too ...
thanks
The last time I saw was at Biotope.
You can gieve them a buzz in the evenings (when the boss is around) to see if they still have stock...
Think Teo's farm at one stage also have them... I think...
Any red plant that grows slowly to recommend?
Thanks.
How does one ensures the reddness in the plant is maintained? Is liquid iron the solution? Cheers.
lfs pple will tell u it's iron, but if u search up on this topic in the forum, low no3 will do the job

And you get BGA in the process...
ye..that's y it's tough to balance that component. but i''ll definitly not risk low no3 to invite BGA esp in a high tech tankOriginally Posted by valice
