no..but some i do believe grow better in colder waters.
Need some expert advices. Does this plant require strong light and CO2 to grow well?
1) Mini Pellia.
2) Fissiden.
3) HC.
Has been wanted to have this in my tank but want to make sure first before I start to buy..

no..but some i do believe grow better in colder waters.
Especially the fissiden.
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.
And make sure you have no SAE in that tank...
Fissiden is the favourite food for SAEs...
I'm a newbie but i think HC is very difficult.
All 3 times i tried, all melted away.
Mini pelia propagate well in my tank(Temp avg 26c), fissiden will recommend cold water
The Happiest of people don't neccessary have the best of everything;
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way
When will there be 25 letters in the alphabets?
fissiden about 26~27 will do, growth won't be fast thats all. Mini pellia is tough, but HC needs high light.
Cheers,
Andrew
Somehow there seems to be no formula that guarantees success ... for instance, someone's HC can bubble with no CO2 under sunlight (i.e. high temperature) and a lot of us just can't get that damn plant right.Originally Posted by andrewtyr

Thanks for all the advice, will be trying on some fissiden last week from a kind bro who delivered it to me. Last hope that it will survive in my low tech tank.

I try to grow mini pellia at home and office, the one at home all died up after 2 weeks and the one at office growing nicely. I gues mini pellia need cold water as well.
