    Hi,

I'm interested to keep this Egeria densa..

Found out that it is a floating plant.
But is it possible to tie it to DW or grow in gravel?

They will root. So, can be planted like normal stem plants. But you have to look out for rotting at the bottom...

They somewhat needs additional calcium boost to keep sturdy enough, otherwise they will break easily. Mine has grown so fragile due to fast rate of growth but relatively low calcium content within my water.

Usually I put some seashells in my cannister filter to boost the Ca and Mg content in the water.

    Triple confirm! ha.
Synonym of Egeria densa is elodea densa.

Lookalikes at one glance are Egeria najas, Elodea canadensis, Hydrilla verticillata and Lagarosiphon major.
