Kind of sick of flashy fish, and realised I have been popping by c328 too regularly just to see the wild betta there.

They are quite slow moving and generally dark coloured. That's about all I observed and know.

Can the gurus tell me a little bit more about the types, feeding, setup, scape of these fellows? Also fishes that go well with them, suitable for the scape.

    Thanks alot!

if you want to see wild bettas, no better place than the Great Hall of the Azmi. Go now, many fantastic species, some even not for sale!
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Similar but less jumpy, reduce water level would do.

My Patoti fries tank. They are one of the cutest wild bettas.. Not scared of human at all. Pardon my messy scapping because this tank was not fulltime maintained by anyone because i am not in Singapore. My wife only feeds and change water once every 2-3 weeks.
