have you tried using the back of the warm cards (100% white)?
Just got the WarmCards Colour Balance cards... So trying them out on the fishes...
Used the Minus Green card as the WB and no colour correction was performed. Just cropping the picture to a closer crop.
Without WB
With WB
The water is tinted with tannins and apparently, the custom white balance is capable of removing the yellowish tinge...

why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Interesting. Got to see how you work with this.
From my monitor, The 2nd picture looks just a tad too red/magenta. I think minor tweaking still needed.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
Yah... The minus green card removed the yellow portion, but not the red...
I tried using white cards instead, and the colour is much better...
I bringing Ranma's set tomorrow, so you can try if you bringing camera... Don't think I will bring my camera...
Oh? Not bringing your camera? Thought you might like to get some pictures at Qian Hu too.Originally Posted by valice

how to use these "cards" ?
you ask the bird to hold the card, then you snap it with your intended light and exposure, then use custom WB and select that image as your reference.
