Just got a pair of Coral Red from Biotape. Not bad. They have a tankful for you to choose compare to C328, only left less than 10.

Anyone breed coral red in their tank before? Any expert advise?

    Coral Red pencilfish?

Nannostomus mortenthaleri is not an easy fish. I have only read one single account of breeding and that is in the PFK article.

P.S. Search function is really useful if you only learn how to use it.

    Thanks for your advise.
I found the following site that had a successful breeding experience.

These are very very nioce fish and really beautiful in the fully red coloration.
I have 20 of them and they are very nice if well fed.

    Great planted tank fish.
Pencil fish in general are not too bad to breed and these will bring a nice price.

These and epesi are the most covetted generally.
Both are super fish to keep.

Accidently, got not fry, other fish ate the eggs.
    Other pencils, yes.

I suppose I could try again, I have 3 sitting here but need some more stock.
