i got 8 bottles of wadley liquid food, highly reconmended as first food tried Nobil too but if you compare the both of them side by side, wadley beats nobil hands down, fry growing at alarming rate with it.

nobil can be purchase at Nature aquarium too.
Wadley liquid food at NA too.
    Cheers!

benny, at the quantity that you're buying Wardley products, pretty soon Mr. Wardley would like you to be his spokeperson in Singapore.

How long do the frys need to take liquid food for before they start eating food like daphnia, brine shrimp etc?

for me, i start feeding bbs once the fries are free swimming but from what i heard ram's fries are smaller than apisto's and it would be awhile before they can take bbs.

Hi LSZ, I feed my dwarf cichlid fry with BBS too. I will feed them daphnia if I can get hold of them, still trying to source for a shop around me that sell daphnia.

    Cheers

    Hi bEn88, congrat.

I do find new free swimming ram fry too small to feed on BBS too. The only success I had with ram fry was I leave them in a tank full of java moss, green water and under sunlight. Think the fry fed on infusoria. You can read more on it at http://home.clara.net/xenotoca/infusoria.htm.

    Good luck.

    Cheers

    Hi portisfish,

Right now the only fish I'm breeding is dwarfs, particularly
apistos but not too many due to space constraint. Manage to get a number of spawns of trifasciata. The juveniles are ferocious eaters[]

Hi foxemty, wah trifasciata! Well done. I am looking for female trifasciata, any suggestions? By the way I have some candidi fry, they are less than 2 months old. Any chance to trade with your trifasciata fry?

    Cheers

Portisfish, my oldest batch of trifasciata fries is about only 8 weeks old and only about 1 cm in size[]. I probably can't figure out which are the females now. I suppose this batch should look pretty good when they are older since their dad is has a very beautiful blue coloration. Could you send me a mail offlist at [email protected] or PM me to discuss further and if we could make some arrangements or trade.

i'll first feed liquid fry food till they are big enough to come to the surface for food by then i will introduce wadley BBS cubes they readily eat them. They grow at an alarming rate till i can feed cut BW. After they start consuming BW the growth is unbelievable.
    Cheers!
