Never used that ballhead before. I'm more familiar with the Markins M10/M20 and the Really Right Stuff BH-55.

Hope it's not the Arca Swiss Monoball. It's terrible. Expensive piece of junk.

I read up some pretty nasty comments on the arca swiss jaming and such. Decided to go for something similar to it. The Kangrinpoche. NB-2A.

how's the nb-2a ball head?
fluid movement? and any creeping?

So far so good, no creeping. have not used anything heavy so shouldn't be a problem. Lock till scale 5-6 very tight cannot move... all my lens are below 1kg so shouldn't be a problem.

was hoping that you tried with a heavier (~2kg) setup.

Lens around 700gm , body + grip 1kg , 1 flash, got 2kg? I'm not very sure how heavy it is.
