salt mix.
NSW is too much hassle IMO.

No skimmer or you do more water change? Which brand salt mix you using?

no skimmer in the tank, only chemi-pure in the built-in filter compartment behind.
Regular water change with water from a remote processing tub at my bedroom balcony [with skimmers, canister filter with chemipure, denitrator, phosphate absorb. Will be adding chaeto].
I am actually trying out this water recycling process. Unclean water from the tank to the processing tub and processed water back to the tank. Will be adding essentials like iodine, magnesium, calcium, Kalkwasser into the tub. Occasionally replenish with fresh salt mix.
I am thinking this might be a best compromise between making fresh salt mix with every WC [a hassle] and cramping all the equipments/sumps etc at the tank, aesthetically not nice.
salt mix used = marine environment [ left over from 4yrs ago, kept in tupperware container ]
what do you think of this idea Sir?
Different people have different method. It is a good way if it work out for you. If recycling is workable, then it will save alot of hassle also.

woa.... pretty awesome!
nice and so cute!
Hi, May i know is the coral you have called hammer anemone??
You install red light also? Seem like that from your video.
that is a coral, called euphyllia paraancora.
Hi,
Thanks. Red light is good for the tank? or for personnal viewing purpose?
If possible, can advise where you bought the coral and the price range. Thanks.
It look nice in the tank. I last time got an anemone but it move around too frequently and getting too big. So in the end, sell away it.
just to prevent the sudden 'blackout' shock on the fishes when the main light goes off no particular usefulness IMO.
got the euphyllia from golden octopus. about $25 each.
i like the look and color of the tentacles, match the O clown quite well [look like anemone, but without the difficulties of keeping one]
Thanks for sharing.
I went GO before but was scared off by their pricing. No buget.... but i must say their quality of coral is number one.
Hi, bro
i got myself a hammer coral yesterday. See your video too tempting.
Would like to check whether you dose any additives into your tank.
Thanks alot.
