    Sure it is. Salvinia exhibits "furry" top instead "plain" top of frogbits.

    Your picture shows a Salvinia sp. but might not be natans. Similarly, I'm not sure if mine is Salvinia natans as well. There are too many Salvinia species around.

    Maybe it has got to do with light intensity. Also saw that you've got some duckweed.

    Yeah, it was started from single leaf, now multiply to few. Imagine, it was started from single leaf
