Hey guys, i was wondering whether it would be much appropriate to hold a talk and hands on type of gathering again as to the one i held much earlier on. This time round, perhaps a much more interactive and we could exchange knowledge on the building aspects as well as proper husbandry for fauna and suitable flora.

I was also thinking of having somewhat potluck wise, so in a way everyone contributes to the event. Also at the same time, a pilot edition of a manual Vivarium Making would be issued out. It's just a pilot issue so i have to see the response to this.

And perhaps, a constructive like journal to capture the events and makings of that day itself in benefit to those who can't make it.

Do feedback on your opinions, ideas and definitely would want the Vivarium community to be alive and kicking!!

    Best Regards,
    Phillipe.

    Philipe-
    Sounds good to me.
What not have a poll to gauge the overall response?

    Yes, good idea.

Phillipe, what is you time window to conduct this before your next busy or travelling period?
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

I have no knowledge to contribute (compared to the experts present) but would like to learn more about it. Can I request to join in?

Yet another interest poll. Include your experience level so that we may better gauge what kind of event it'll should be, (or if Phillipe is up to it... multiple events?) . And please give your feedback and ideas too.

    Interested:

I have always wanted to setup a vivarium (paludarium) but to no avail due to lack of setup information. Will the event include a demonstration on how to do a simple vivarium?

Yes, it'll include everything from basic theory to advanced setups as well as introduction to the various suitable plants for the vivariums. A pilot edition of a Vivarium manual guide will be handed out to those who are present.

    Regards,
    Phillipe.

Hi Davwong, the preparations are coming along great. The date has yet to be fixed but it should commence somewhere in the middle of December.

So stay tuned for regular updates on the upcoming workshop.

Alright guys, just a slot more so i could accomodate 10 people for this round of workshop.

Of which follows the debate on whether we should have potluck or a barbeque? hehehehe As it'll be a great way to interact on a more casual basis between keepers alike and to exchange knowledge.

    Regards,
    Phillipe.
