a healthy and handsome fella, this is in the 2ft vertical in your room?
He's been one of my amazing herps i have so far and he's grown well into a mature and charming young adult Common Greenback. Always hungry and definitely not camera shy.
Here are 2 shots of him caught just stoning his moments away....
He's been around for almost 2 years now and is happily residing in a 2 footer vivarium set up with his very own mini pool and a waterfall. He's such a pampered frog!!
Regards,
Phillipe.

Hi Wild Ginger, your herp setup is very nice! Is that a bromeliad ( large curved waxy leaves) in the foreground? May I know the name of this plant?
hi wild ginger, that's a really lovely frog. did you raise him from a tadpole? i used to keep tadpoles of four-lined tree frogs. released them when they metamorphosed though. fourlineds are a bit drab in colour but still pretty, imho. do you keep any other frog species?
Beautiful greenback. I released mine where i caught him several weeks ago though. He started croaking so i figured he wanted a mate.
that is such a lovely tank. i enjoyed reading your other posts.

hi Wild Ginger,
great frog there, and beautiful vivarium too. Was just curious to know what you feed you young greenbacks - before they are large enough to swallow crickets.
thanks
Thanks mates for the coments. Right now she's moved to a vertical terrarium, more suited for her as she loves to climb.
She's been with me for several years now and i can say she's a tame girl. I fed her with pinhead crickets when she was barely able to swallow a normal cricket size. On occasionally, i'll give her some mealworms as a variety to her staple diet.
Regards,
Phillipe.
Where does one get pinhead crickets? I have to release tadpoles because there's nothing they can eat...
XnSdVd, you can try Eco Culture for the pinheads. Will be asking Azmi if he can supply me. Release tadpoles? I hope the frogs are native... And tadpoles eat crickets??

I'm crypt collecting... Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted! ), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted! ), C.tonkinensis(Melted! ), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii
Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...
I believe the tadpole was from a giant malayan frog. I released it when it grew hind legs. I wasn't taking the tiny mealworms you gave me.
