    yesterday my kribensis died. I think it ate itself to death, its belly being very very full (can a female fish have too much eggs and have no male to lay it with die from that?)

    Its strange how they go rush to the food and snatch from everyone else even when they have eaten alot... Anyone with similar problems?

    Yes. Female fish can die when they cannot expel the eggs there are carrying.
