    Looks like Elatine tiandra aka APP to me. Plant it individually and not as clumps if you want them to crawl nicely across your foreground...

    doesn't look like stem plant because there's quite a fair bit of roots on the 'body'

    It is defintely not L. cardinalis... The emersed of a L. cardinalis has purplish leaves on green...

    I do have them in emersed form. They looked more or less the same from the picture that was posted. If im not wrong only with strong lighting the leaves will turn slightly purple.
    Anyway its just a guess, i could be wrong
