My vallisneria is flowering. There are 3 extremely long stalks with flower buds at the end. I hope they will bloom in the next few days. Anyone's plants are blooming too?

yah, aponogeton and echinodorus seem to flower quite readily. Now I'm leaving my red lotus to have floating leaves hopefully it will bloom too [:]

however, managing the flower stalks can be a problem, the flower stalk of the Aponogeton ulvaceus measured 4 ft and the last Echinodorus was fully 6ft!
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

I have never seen my Vallesneria blooming before. But my lot of Sagittaria produce small white flowers almost everyday.
Post some photos to let us see.

Mine too, but the flowers don't last long, about 3 days. After that the long stalks just clutter up the surface. But it was exciting to see the first few flowers
