Today i got about 12KG of live sand for my 30g tank.
Now, there is something buried in the substrate, alive, and i have no idea what it is. Some of it is poking out, the rest is buried. I have no digi cam but i came up with a "drawing" of sorts..i have linked to it at the bottom.
The worm things that is connected to it "droop".
    Hope someone can help me...

are the exposed ends similar to what u have shown?? the legs?? if so, it might be bristleworms.. IMO, try to remove them..

No no kelvin it dosnt have legs.
It is like one of those fan worm things i think...
sometimes it "leans"..like a flower leaning toward the sun.
It is a very weird, but cool looking thing...and best of all, it was free!

looks like u got urself a barnacle.
kel y u tell mez to remove bristal worms? IMO they r very beneficial as they r scavagers n they help turn ur sand over.

Or if you were really lucky, you might have landed yourself up with a tube anemone.

I was just about to ask where you got your live sand from when I realised it was Mez, lol. Anyone knows if LFS in Singapore sell live sand?

Mez, I've got a HUGE tube anemone in my display tank's that looks real cool, the middle is a bright neon green. Fish stay away from it, and the other thing I like about him is that he eats a lot - so I get a lot of joy feeding the tube even after the fish and corals are all full and happy.

Dragon, do you have any pics of this so i may identify mine? I think this is what you are describing.
Also, what do they eat? Only have frozen baby brine on hand at the moment...didnt expect to have any living creature in tank yet..

Mine takes anything!! Frozen brine shrimp, frozen blood worms, frozen prepared foods (minced fish meat) and also whole, de-shelled shrimp.
