    Hi,

Wat are the ways apart from doing partial water changes?

I also saw at PETMART some SEACHEM white colour resin which claims that it can be used for denitification. Dont know true anot? Anybody tried this product?

Most de-nitrification products I would assume to be too effective for a planted tank.

    Options:
    - Lower bio-load
    - Feed less
    - More plants
    - If K is limiting the plant's N and P uptake, then add K
    - Smaller filter or less bio filtration. Let your plants handle the ammonia
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

for marine, u can try refugium.. or grow lots of macroalgae to remove them..but i would recommend using natural methods such as refugium or macroalgae than a bio-denitrator.. to me, it is more like mechanical media to remove the waste.. by going natural, such as growing macroalgae, u can use the cuttings to feed your fishes as well..

ya, like what kel said, refugia are one of the best methods. What's more, these nitrate sponges or resins will eventually be exhausted and some may leach back the nitrates after that if you leave them in it for too long .. a risk actually.
