    anyone had success breeding these fellow? I have a pair of them for a very long time but they never even ever seem to be interested in breeding. they are growing huge and the male has a very long dorsal and yellow tail but never seem to want to breed[]

    saw them at tropical didn't want to get them. Sorry can't give u any information on tht apisto.

    oops , sorry for the late reply, my work is piling till my neck francis i don't have a postable pic of the female now but i believe it can be found on the net. i got my from tropical.

    If possible get a few more to try out, usually with more cards in hand it will provide a higher chance.

    Thats why people suggest getting 1 male 2female for apisto, and i do believe it to a certain extend. Having just a single pair to work with is very difficult adding on it's the first time u have them.

    i still can't provide u any info, just base on what i do is to get more to play around,unless u know the species well enough even then you can't comfirm anything.

    When a single pair never breeds even how much you do to the water,food etc, it will not breed. You ought to get a few more to make them breed.
