I'm growing mine in 2.6W/G, 32 degrees. ph and kh, not measured in a long time, but was around 6.8, 4-6. 3 times a week Flourish and Flourish K. Once a week Flourish Fe. JBL base fert, Jobe sticks for Aquatic plants.

Mine seems to grow more in one direction then the other. The side that grows more I suspect is sitting on top of a Jobe Stick (they were meant for my crypts).

    Chris, Vincent:

The star grass was from me, right?

At first mine did not grow too. It would grow a short while and then start melting. But after washing my filter (not washed in more than 6 months), the plant suddenly started growing out of hand. Read more about it in this thread.

Two months after that filter wash, it is still growing well today.
    My current tank conditions: 0.1ppm Fe, 10ppm NO3, 0.25ppm PO4, 4 dkH, 7 pH, 144W for 30g

    KF,

    Yep, your SG.

Hmmm. I wonder if its the filters. I'm using 2 Eheim 2006. Definitely not enough bio filtration according to convention. Trying to make some kind of connection here, but my brain is not working... UGHGHGHGH!!!

I have two filters, 2026 and a FBF.

I change water fairly frequently at about 30% every 2-3 days.

the thing is, the leaves are turning black, although I do get some new growth, those are puny.
