    Hi all,
I've planted some glosso recently and they got eaten up by my yamato(only 4 big ones!). Only some stalks left. Why is that so? Please help.

They have no algae to eat.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    BTW, putting it this way.

If I am growing Riccia right now and most of them are growing out from my net fast. Can I put in some Yamatoes to help in trimming my Riccia?

Coz I heard that Yamatoes do eat Riccia. So, I was just wondering if the Yamatoes will help to trim my Riccia nicely so that I do not need to trim my Riccia manually and then have the trouble to remove them.

Problem is you can't control the yamatos. And how many do you think is enough so they don't end up eating all of it. The final thing that really irritates me about yamatos and riccia... the plucking action by the yamato often dislodges individual riccia which end up floating about.

    Nin,

If you wait for the Yamatos to trim, your riccia will already be floating. Don't think they can cope with Riccia growth. BTW, yamatos don't really understand aquascaping, they may not be trimming where you want them to.
    Cheers!!
