Crooked mouths

Lately, a few of my N.brichardi's have had their mouths mis-shapen. Originally, their mouths were ok but somehow it has becomed crooked like someone punched their jaws one side. They have some difficulty eating pellets so now I have to crush the pellets till very small. So far, 3 of my Brichardi as well as one of the leleupi is having this problem.
Any idea what the hell is going on??

before what were they eating?
what was the size of the food?

So far, I've only seen fish of the same species go mouth to mouth fighting. diff species tend to run.

My brichardi's fought when I introduced them to their newly revamped tank. There were some torn lips, but they healed and things has settled. No jaw problems though.

As per my reply in AR:

Its likely to be a case of fish darting around and unknowingly banging against a rock or some other obstruction.

Although i must say i have never heard it can happen to any other fish other than A. Compress/calvus cos of their protruding jaw structure.

N. Birchardis tend to fight by nipping each other and/or other species.
The 2 front razor teeth on their lower jaws are testament to that ( if you look carefully ).

Might want to try to monitor if there are any specific bullies in the tank that are wreaking havoc.
No fish would dart around banging their faces in something without fear of something.
