Moss color

hihi,

how come some moss darker in green, some a bit brown and some so rich in light green color, given the same type of moss? what causes the color to change?

i got to say some of the moss is unhealthy or perharps the moss is being covered or overshadowed by other layer of moss above it. just my 5 cents worth

If they grow in the same tank, most probably due to lighting.
