Yep, I also agreed thats copper-cheeked frog, Ranna chalconota. Pictures are very well taken.
Beautiful specimens. Beware their toxins though.

Interesting infomation, XnSdVd, what kind of toxins? From touching them?

...I love rubies too ...
Ken
Unfortunately i can't find the site i read it from. But yes, the copper cheeked frog, apparently, secretes a mild toxin from it's skin.
According to Azmi during the workshop, all frogs will excrete a certain level of toxins through their skin... The level of reaction to the toxins on human depends on individual and also whether there are open sores/wounds on the hands when handling them...
Oh... toxins... i thought it was potent toxins...
All anurans actually... have some form of toxin.. be it mild or potent..
And they also will always blink when they swallow... know why??kekeke

Thats not a mosquito...and its not dangerous..
The frogs look so adorable! Looks like the interest has picked up a bit since the relaxation of the law to allow (selected) frogs to be kept as pets.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
