Hi guy, pls help me to ID the following fishes...

First picture is a contaminant among the microrasboras 'galaxy' from c328.

2nd and 3rd are same piece of loach... which I suspect is Cobitis Choii ??

the loach looks like that recent "rosy loach" from myanmar, most likely undescribed.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Where did you scoop the loach from? If from the CRS tank in C328, it is the rosy loach, which is normally in rosy reddish colour. Your specimen looks really stressed.

Thanks guys, I think the loach should be 'rosy' loach...Indeed caught from c328. It don't like to be handled by net...but once it get acclimatised, it became extremely lively and greedy.

How come it is undescribed? New species ?

No idea. Could be described but nobody knows for sure what these are. The loaches people didn't know either.

Pictures of a couple of mine...

I've got 4 of them, hardy fishes. They remind me of Corydoras hastatus, they like to hover around in midwater and very playful.

What did you feed your rosy loaches with ? Yah, I was kind of conned to believe that they are bottom dwellers.

Size wise, have your speciemens grow much bigger? Or still remain as small ?

Growth is not noticable, maybe just slightly. Fed them just about anything, flakes, granules, live tubifex, BBS. They aren't choosy eaters.
